A home should sound like the people who live in it. We listen first, then design rooms that hold your story: the chair you inherited, the light you love in the morning, the way you actually live.

Soft arches, warm plaster and morning light for a family home that had lost its calm.

A main bedroom and bathroom designed as one calm retreat.

A dark galley kitchen opened up into the heart of the house.

Textured stone, soft lighting and a bathroom that feels like a spa at home.
Start with one conversation or hand us the whole house. Every project is shaped around the way you live.
You always know what happens next, what it costs and when it arrives.
We meet at your home or in the studio, walk the space and talk about how you live, what you love and what has to change.
A concept board with layout, palette, materials and key pieces, so you can see the direction before anything is bought.
Detailed plans, lighting, joinery drawings and a full specification with costs. Changes happen here, on paper, where they cost nothing.
We order, follow up and coordinate trades and makers, and keep you posted at every stage.
Furniture placed, art hung, beds made. You walk into a finished room.

A well-designed room should feel familiar the first time you walk in, like an echo of somewhere you have always belonged.

Why the white that looked perfect in the shop turns grey, yellow or cold on your walls, and how to choose one that works.

Your grandmother's cabinet, the rug from your travels, the chair you cannot part with: how to make them the heart of a room.

A little clarity before the builders arrive saves money, time and a lot of stress. Start with these five questions.
Our studio is in Sandton and most of our projects are in Johannesburg and the surrounding areas of Gauteng. For homes further away we can work through video consultations, detailed drawings and shopping lists.
Every project is different, so we quote after the first consultation, based on the scope and the time it needs. You receive a written proposal with our design fee before any work starts. Furniture, finishes and contractor costs are separate and approved by you.
Yes, and we encourage it. We start every project by asking what you want to keep, then design around those pieces. Reupholstering or refinishing is often the best option.
We walk through the space with you, talk about how you live, your style and your budget, and discuss what is possible. Afterwards we send a proposal for the work we recommend.
On full interior design projects we coordinate the trades and makers involved and visit site at key stages, so the work is built the way it was designed.
It depends on the scope and on lead times for furniture and finishes. We give you a realistic timeline in your proposal and keep you updated as orders arrive.
